Central Lane MPO is committed to providing a flexible multi-modal transportation system that benefits all users.  Relative to other urban areas, a considerable proportion of our citizens ride bicycles to get to work, go to school, access goods and services or just ride for exercise.  Thanks to an extensive bicycle network that includes nearly 80 miles of off-street bicycle and pedestrian paths and an over 140 miles of bike lanes and bike boulevards, people who ride bikes have safer routes to get where they are going.  The area is also home to the University of Oregon that has contributed to the creation of a bicycling culture over many decades.  Explore our site to learn more about what the CLMPO is doing to make bicycling a more accessible transportation mode through funding, monitoring and ongoing research.
