Alternate Formats

Alternate formats refer to a change in the format of material (visual and/or audio) to make information available to those who cannot easily read the information presented on this website or printed materials. S&DS makes every effort to provide its material in alternate formats for persontes with disabilities who require it. Alternate formats may include, but are not limited to, Braille, large print, tape and electronic documents. S&DS is also able to arrange for readers, assistive listening devices or sign language interpreters. S&DS requests that a 48-hour notice be given when requesting material in an alternate format.

If you are a client of S&DS, or acting on behalf of a client for S&DS, contact your worker to request material in alternate format. All other requests for material in an alternate format should be made by contacting the S&DS Information and Referral line at (541) 682-4038.
