What if I can't tell where I am on the site?
If you get lost or cannot find your way back or forward out of the site, select the home button in the upper lefthand corner of the screen. This will take you to the Senior & Disabled Services home page.

How can I start to explore the S&DS site?
On the home page, select the button pertaining to the topic you'd like to read about. For a listing of all of the pages available on this site, visit the site map page.

What is a PDF file? How do I view it?
The PDF file format is a common internet file format (PDF stands for Portable Document Format) that is used for electronic distribution because it faithfully preserves the look and feel of the original document complete with fonts, colors, images, and layout. It also can be used across many different types of computers and browsers. It is commonly used for government publications, leaflets and forms. Links that open PDF files on this site will typically be noted with a PDF icon icon.

To open a PDF document, you must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. Most modern computers have Reader already, but if you need to download it, you can get it at the Adobe website. Alternately, PDF conversion is available online that can convert PDFs to a webpage (HTML) or text (txt) file. For more information about accessibility and the PDF format, visit the Adobe website.

How can I request material in an alternate format from S&DS?
If you are a client of S&DS, or acting on behalf of a client for S&DS, contact your worker to request material in alternate formats. All other requests for material in an alternate format should be made by contacting the S&DS Information and Referral line at (541) 682-4038.
