Disability Services Advisory Council

SENIOR & DISABLED SERVICES SEEKS ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS
FOR ITS DISABILITY SERVICE COUNCIL

Persons with disabilities and those who work with persons with disabilities are invited to apply for membership on LCOG’s Disability Service Advisory Council. The Council serves all of Lane County and seeks to represent the needs of people with disabilities throughout the region.
Senior and Disabled Services (S&DS), a division of Lane Council of Governments, is the local agency responsible for planning and providing most publicly funded services for seniors and adults with disabilities.
The Advisory Council advises the Lane Council of Government’s Board of Directors and agency staff on issues related to client services within Lane County.
The Council also advises on S&DS’ annual work plan, budget, and other administrative matters. Council members serve as advocates on matters affecting the general welfare of seniors and persons with disabilities.
