Senior Services Advisory Council

The Disability Services Advisory Council meets on the second Tuesday of even-numbered months. Meetings agendas are available below by clicking on the item link. All materials are in PDF format.

SENIOR & DISABLED SERVICES SEEKS NEW MEMBERS for its SENIOR SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL

SENIORS (60 and over) and senior advocates of any age are invited to apply for membership on the Advisory Council. The Council serves all of Lane County and is interested in securing representatives from both rural and urban communities; and members of a minority group.
Senior and Disabled Services (S&DS) is the local agency responsible for planning and providing most publicly funded services for seniors and adults with disabilities.
The Senior Services Advisory Council (SSAC) advises the Lane Council of Government’s Board of Directors and agency staff on issues related to client services within Lane County.
The SSAC also advises on S&DS’ annual work plan, budget, and other administrative matters. Council members serve as advocates on matters affecting the general welfare of seniors.
