Living Well With Chronic Conditions is a Stanford University developed series of 6 weekly workshops, each 2-½-hours long. Stanford has established proof that the series makes a positive difference for attendees who complete the course. Classes are fun and helpful. Learn from trained volunteer leaders with health conditions themselves about how to manage symptoms and medication, work with your health care team, set weekly goals, problem-solve effectively, improve communication, relax, handle difficult emotions, eat well, and exercise safely. Set your own goals and make a step-by-step plan to improve your health—and your life.
Living Well With Chronic Conditions is a community service project FREE TO THE PUBLIC & hosted by the Lane Council Of Governments (LCOG). For more information and to register, contact livingwell@lcog.org or call (541) 682-4103.
